 Speech-Language Pathologist

Performance Responsibilities:

• Implements screening procedures to identify speech – language impaired students in assigned school.
• Assesses communication skills of students using diagnostic procedures and related information.
• Plans and implements procedures to change deficient communication skills.
• Directs speech – language articulation, voice and fluency therapy.
• Collaborates with teachers and monitors students’ progress.
• Plans instructional programs.
• Conducts and participates in evaluation study, eligibility, screening, etc.
• Prepares speech and language evaluation reports and related records.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited institution in special education, social work or related field
• Licensure or qualifies for a Virginia Department of Education License; Postgraduate Profesional License: Speech Language Pathologist.

SALARY BASED ON THE 2017-2018 SPEECH PATHOLOGIST SALARY

 WITH ZERO EXPERIENCE

  Based on a 200 day contract
