Instructional Support Tutor
Spiller Elementary School
Preferred Qualifications:
- Is at least 21 years of age.
- Possesses a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Accurately follows oral and written directions.
- Effectively controls a group independent of an immediate supervisor.
- Previous school-based experience with children preferred, but not required.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Assist Title I and Classroom teachers with providing instruction to identified students.
- Possesses general knowledge, practices, and methods used in teaching
- Work with individual and small groups of students to reinforce skills
- Assists Title I teachers with PALS and assessments
- Provide program activities as provided by Title I or Classroom teachers
- Records data from tutoring sessions and lessons and shares with appropriate teachers
- Participates in professional development as assigned
- Maintains confidentiality of students and school-related information
- Performs other instructional duties as assigned by the Principal
Terms of employment: 182 days per year
Salary to be determined by the 2025-2026 Paraprofessional Salary Scale
